CPH Airport The Journey Is On

A miniseries about being in-between worlds in the airport.

Challenge

Copenhagen airport were about to open a brand new area with shops and eateries. With shops such as Arket, Mikkeller  Massimo Dutti, the area catered a more urban and fashion conscious crowd than the usual target audience. When we are at the airport, we are in a space that is neither here nor there.Its a magic feeling of being in between worlds, where we are free and anything can happen.

IDEA

We created a playful miniseries of six episodes telling the story of two strangers meeting and forming a friendship in the airport featuring two young upcoming female actresses known by the target audience. The episodes could be watched chronologically or in in any order you preferred. Playing off the “magic” of the airport each film had a touch of surrealism, giving the  style of the films an indie vibe, and in a playful way covering the various themes of the new areas: eateries, bars, clothing stores, and a play area.

IMPACT

The campaign became the most watched in the history of Copenhagen Airport. Generating curiosity and excitement long before and after the launch of the new area.
Cementing the feeling that when you are at the airport the journey is on!
